Product Description
Continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) utilize a belt or chain to produce an infinite number of gear ratios between two variable diameter pulleys. CVTs require a particular transmission fluid with specific frictional qualities that ensure the belt or chain does not slip between the pulleys. AMSOIL Synthetic CVT Fluid features superior metal-to-metal friction qualities, as well as superior protection and performance. Excellent Frictional Properties

Field Proven
AMSOIL Synthetic CVT Fluid and Nissan NS-2 CVT Fluid were put through their paces in the field. Before the transmissions were broken down and inspected, four automobiles (two with AMSOIL CVT Fluid and two with Nissan NS-2 CVT Fluid) were driven 100,000 miles.
AMSOIL CVT Fluid offered great protection during the field trial, as evidenced by the lack of wear throughout the belt and pulley photographs below, demonstrating that it is an excellent substitute for Nissan NS-2 CVT Fluid.
